Finish on a snowboard? - Snowboarding Forum

I have recently bought a ride snowboard. It was used once and around the edges, the finish is coming up. This isnt like a finish, but it has a little bit of gell feeling to it. It has wooden grafics. Is there anyway to keep this from happening?

is it on the bottom of the board or the top? if its the bottom it is probably just the layer of wax getting worn of around the edge!
