Forward Lean Help - Snowboarding Forum

I recently purchased a pair of union contact bindings and I'm having trouble setting the forward lean to zero. When ever I do so the top of the heel cup is touching the high back rather then the bottom of the forward lean adjuster. I have tried adjusting the position of the high back and when I do so I'm able to achieve a zero forward lean but their is a huge gap between the heel cup and the high back. Any suggestions? thanks

Adjust the forward lean the way you like it.
Loosen the Highback rotation screws so that the FLAD rests on the heal-hoop correctly. (these are the screws that attach the highback to the binding)
Depending on your stance angle, align the highback to be as close to parallel to the running edge as possible.
Tighten
