Default Board suggestion

Hello,

I'm finally looking for a new board. I currently ride a Bataleon Goliath which I like a lot but bores me a bit so I'm looking for a little softer/playful Board. I mainly ride groomers, a bit of park here an there and of course powder if we get any. I like the TBT alot but haven't really been on anything else except traditional camber. I have an relatively old cambered nitro magnum for those hard charging icy days as well.

My stats: height: 6'3, weight: ~180lbs, Boot: 11,5 Salomon F3.0 (so waist width is a bit of an issue).

So, I want a freestyle board that will be fun buttering, jumping off medium jumps and rollers and playing around on groomers and pow.

I did some research and made a little list but cant really decide between the boards. I'm still open to other suggestions (hey Nivek/BA ):

(no particular order)

Bataleon GW (another Bataleon)
Arbor Blacklist (great reviews)
Yes Jackpot (not sure if the waist width is enough)
Capita The Outsiders (New board, probably somewhat similar to the old Stairmaster Extreme, didn't find any reviews on it yet. I like the brand and the design alot, but feel it might be too stiff for my likeing.)
K2 Fastplant

Yeah I know, but they don't come in wides. Im not sure if the waist width will be enough. My Goliath has a waist of 26,3cm and I think going below ~25,8cm could cause some heel-/toe drag.

You don't NEED a wide. The F series shrinks the boot, it has a footprint close to an 11. You can easily get away with something like 25.3. With a softer more playful board you wont be leaning it over far enough to worry about drag.

From Capita if the Outsiders is the Extreme replacement I would look at something else. The Extreme was a pretty beefy board with tons of snap, but not all that playful. I think you'll be better off looking at the Indoor or Outdoor.

Add the Flow Era and Salomon Villain to your list.
