so im buying a used board and had a question hoping you guys can point me in the right direction. Iv been snowboarding about 7 times and i found a burton 06/07 dominant board i was thinking about getting. i read its a rail board and im looking to do just normal riding but i want a flexible board to start doing tricks with..my question is will a park board like the dominant effect my riding for just cruisen around or will it do fine till im good enough to start jumping and stuff. eventually i do want to start jumping...any imput would be great..thanks

even for jumping the dom is wayy to soft. its a noodle all it can do is jib and cruising around the mountain will not be fun on that thing. id try to find an atomic hatchet. the hatchet is a freestyle board that is perfect for rails and jumping, but is stiffer than the dom so itll ride well on the rest of the mountain. you can find last years hatchets pretty cheap online, so look around. you could also look into a capita stairmaster, which is a very similar bpard to the hatchet.
