Question help with bindings for burton indie

so i just found a great deal on a burton indie board now come the bindings and boots.

i know burton uses a 3d binding disk and all others use a regular disk

here my question.... should i try to find a binding from burton or should i not worry about the brand of binding and just get the 3d disk for which ever i choose to buy?

also i've been told to buy boots then bindings and typical its good to have binding and boots same brand.. true/false????

thanks for helping if you can and please lets stay on thread..

Get boots first. You want to make sure that your boots fit your feet, and your bindings. It's fine to have different brand boots/bindings/board. You don't need Burton bindings because there are some companies that will send you discs that can be used to mount them onto Burton boards.

Companies will send a disk that will alow you to mount any bindings to a Burton board, but the standard 4x4 baseplate will still work if you turn it 45 degress, it will line up. You definately don't need to match everything, but get boots first so you can match the bindings perfectly with your boots.

For sure get the boots first. Last year my friend didnt and screwed himself. Like everybody else has said you dont need to get burton bindings but the burton cartels are pretty nice

I don't think you need a wide board for size 10.5
