Default Rome manual vs Flag for Beginner

Hi

I am having a hard time choosing between either the 159 manual or the 160 flag. I know the the flag is for more advanced riders but could a beginner handle it. Basically just loking for a good board to hit the slopes with and progress this season. Also would I be able to get away without going with a wide board in; that case maybe the crail or anthem. I am open to any other board suggestions ( also had a guy a shop recommend a 155w Forum youngblood- i thought that was more of a park board but am not sure)
I am
5'10
185 lbs
11.5 boot

Thanks

Rome Slash (wide Agent) 156/158 sounds better for you.
156 has a 25.8cm waist, 158 has a 26.2cm waist.
Unfortunately, they are quite expensive.

You might also want to look at the Technine Team Skateboard 159. Technine has some other Mid-Wide options around the $200 mark.

Size 11.5 boots puts you right in between Wide and Regular, Mid-Wide was made for this.

thanks for your replies

So i should go with the Agent/Slash over the Anthem/Flag. I am noob so don't really know much but looking at rome's site is looks like the agent is more of a park board and anthem is for the mountain. I am pretty much just going to be sticking to the easy trails and then maybe working my way up towards the end of the season. I ruled out the manual as I plan on keeping the board for a couple years as i get better

Thanks again

Get the Slash 158 over the Flag 160.
The Anthem/Flag is more of a freeride board. The Agent/Slash is a twin tip all-mountain freestyle board.
