looking for advice on ride beta binding. I got a pair of the 2007 limited edition binding sort of as a gift. i'm mostly a freerider with maybe 5% park riding. haven't ridden in these bindings yet, but all i keep reading about is how flexible these things are and how much they move etc - freestyle oriented. does anyone out there have these bindings and would these be to flexible for a mostly freerider. or is the difference in flex between these and a middle of the road stiffness binding so small that i shouldn't worry about it. the reason i ask is that if these things are too inappropriate i would like to sell them while i can still get a good price and get a different pair. what i am looking at is the 07 burton cartel. does anyone know how these two stack up??? i'd like to keep them if they would be a good match. I ride a burton supermodel.

Why would you sell a park binding for another park binding? If you're riding a Supermodel go pick up some Co2's, C60's or something on the upper end of freeride from Burton. Also look at the Rome Targa, or the Drake Podium Ghosts.

the burton bindings get the most complaints. your beta mvmnts are 2x lighter and more mobile and have a way less chance of breaking and they have good looks too. burton bindings fall apart from the seams. the toecups always scoot up over ur toe and come undone vs the beta mvmnts universal toecup to toestrap. the toecup molds to the tips of your boots so it never comes undone. and you can have it as a toestrap too if you wanted. keep what you have or sell those babies to me for dirt cheap because those are some of the best bindings out there. best of the best.

as the flexibility goes. its flexible for coming off of stuff and fallin backwards or forwards you wont notice all too much of a difference besides more comfort. your response will be the same. message me if you have any more questions on these bindings. i have the delta mvmnts. wish i had those!
