Default Sizing Question

I'm getting ready to purchase a new board for the upcoming season and I'm a little stumped on sizing. I plan on buying the Rome Lo-Fi Rocker from 2012...I'm about 5'6, 135lbs and my current board is an old Salomon that's 151cm.

I read in another thread that boards are often shorter than what the manufacturer lists and I was surprised to find that my Salomon actually measures around 149cm. Originally I had planned to get the new Rome board in 149cm because my Salomon seemed a little large for me, but now I'm a little nervous that a 149 might be too small.

I'm located on the east coast so I mostly see ice and hardpack, generally all mountain and if I'm at the park its only small jumps and rails. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!
