Too wide or not too wide? - Snowboarding Forum

I have a friend that wants to give me his board and I thinking about messing around on it. However, it's a wider board, the waist is 26.5 cms. Right now, I wear a size 10 boot, M bindings, do you think the board will be too wide? If so, what are the disadvantages/advantages of riding a wider board?

Oh yeah, hi everyone. Feels like it's been forever =)

With feet that small, you might have turning problems. I've never ridden a wide board though, so I can't say from personal experience.

Ok, so what I should have said was, "With feet of that particular size" wide might not be a great idea. I have 10.5 and I was told not to worry about wide boards unless I was an 11 or more. Again though, can't say from experience what it would be like.
