Wide Board

My shoe size is 13 (US) so I figured im going to need a wide board. Does shoe size convert to boot size? Ive always had problems with shoe size as sometimes I can be 11,12 or 13. The shoes I have at the moment are 13 and fit really well.

As per FAQ
Do I need a wide board?

Depends on you boot size. While every board is a little different and your stance width and stance angles effect this, the common thought is that size 12 is the determining line. When you start getting into boot sizes above a 12, it is time to be looking at a wide board. Below that, stick with a standard board.
I will need a wide board. Is there any cases that I wont or should I just stick with wide?

The sizing varies by boot I think, not all of them are exactly the same. I wear a size 12 shoe and a size 12 boot, but it might be different for you. You're probably going to have to get a wide but that will depend on what boot you end up with. My toes would definitely drag if I didn't have a wide.

i'm a 12-12.5 US in shoes but in boots (work boots, waders, snowboarding boots) i'm a 13. i know boots stretch but i'd rather have some that were a little big than too small. remember you'll be wearing thicker socks.
as far as a wide board, yes, get a wide board. if it were up to me, my skunk-ape would be wider. i don't like looking down and seeing the tips of my boots sticking over the edge of my board but i guess that's just me.
