Default Im a wh*re for light things...

For the past 2 seasons Ive been riding a 07 Burton Vapor (I had the money I figured I'd treat myself)
Beginning of last season i switched from bulky FLOW bindings to Ride EX.
Just this season i purchased ThirtyTwo's boot (not sure the model) but its probably the lightest boot i ever wore.

My question is, anything lighter? aha
Also if there's advantages or more importantly disadvantages to having lightweight products?

Is anyone else in the same lightweight-fetish boat as me aha?

32 makes super light stuff. I think the Ultralight is supposed to be...well...you know.

I ride a Rome Design board and that thing is ridiculously light as well.

yea I plan on demo-ing as much snowboards as i can this season, ive been so acquainted to my board that Ive neglected to broaden my knowledge of different boards.
So for sure I'll be looking for some Rome and Lib-Tech boards to try out since Ive been hearing soooo much hype about them.

I heard that the Rome Design is actually the lightest board out there. Rome's new limited edition Anthem SS is supposed to rival the weight of the Design.

I was wondering something similar. I can get a Vapor at a crazy discount so Im considering it, but was curious of any drawbacks. Does it chatter at high speeds because its so light? I only weigh 155lbs myself so that might compund the problem.

Oh and I picked up those 32 boots, wow...light!

I got a k2 zero not too long ago and it is ridiculously light. I got a 156 and it's much lighter than my girlfriends k2 luna 144. I threw some ride nrc bindings on there and wear thirtytwo focus boa boots and its a very light set up. i love it

what year is your design? i found some deals on later versions of the design but im not sure if i should jump at the low price, or save up some more for this year's model, or possibly sell my old vapor for some spare cash.

Mine is an 07. I got it as a season-old board last year. it cost $333 and had free shipping. Couldn't pass it up.
