gnu made in spain?

So I just got a 2008 GNU street series board and it says made in Spain on it? I thought they were made in the US?

ok i found out that they have experimented with rossingol's plant in spain for a set of boards and no shops would buy them... theres an article on their website

i just got a gnu b-nice and it says the same thing! i kind of don't like that...
