Default Lamination coming off Rome Solution

So I got my first board last Winter and after about 4-5 days of riding the lamination started to come off and it's just gotten worse. I ended up breaking my wrist at one point so didn't bother to get it replaced yet but it's opening day today and I plan on going. Of course the board is still rideable but it looks ugly as hell and I'm sure the lamination missing doesn't help protect it. I'm assuming it's not normal for this to ever happen to a board. Should Rome replace this under their 2 year warranty? What are the best steps to take to get it replaced and will they want me to send the board back or will they just send me a new one so that I don't have any down time? If I have to send my board back then I'll wait till Winter is over to get it replaced.

I would say that's definitely not normal. Take back to where you bought it or a local rome dealer. They should be able to tell you their experiences with what rome will cover under warranty.

I ordered it from Backcountry. Should I call them or just a local dealer?

Awesome, I just talked to Backcountry and they charged me for the same board at the discounted price I paid for it and all I have to do is ship them the board with delamination and they'll refund me. So no down time and all it costs me is shipping the old board to them. I'll definitely be buying from them again.

Wow that's a deal. I'm thinking rome takes care of their warranties.
