different brands of boards

what brands of boards are the best? obviously burton is good, i'm getting my first snowboard and the store is running a sale on a morrow board. anyone ever owned one before?

i was kinda being sarcastic, hard to read sarcasm though... im really not a fan of burton, their gloves/mitts are ok, but other than that i think they are over priced especially for the quality.

oh, i see, i live in toledo ohio though and there isn't any mountains near by so for my board i have to go to MC sports (just a regular sports store) and they are very limited on selection and the burton clash looks like the best deal right now, cus the other brand is morrow and it looks like a cheaper brand. They have run out of pretty much all of their other boards.

i learned to ride on a salomon that was mainly all mountain. it was a bit stiff but it taught me to ride any type of run. blacks, and the fun double blacks. i had no problems with it and i know some other people who have said nothing but good. they are mountain riders all they way.

of course have an idea what type of riding you'll do before you buy. if you can that is.
