We are going to need your weight, foot size. Obviously a beginner. I would say rent your first time out or two... |

Yeah, you can go straight to snowboarding, but rent first, and see if you like it. I noticed that most people who know how to ski, have a MUCH easier time of learning how to snowboard. I don't know why, but just what I noticed.
