Anyone have experience with YES or Stepchild park boards?
In the market for a new park board.. wondering if anybody has good experience or reviews on any YES or Stepchild park boards.. I searched but couldn't really find anything on here.
Debating between a Capita Horrorscope, GNU Park Pickle, Never Summer Evo, or a good YES or Stepchild park board (if anyone has good info/reviews on them)..
Also, if anyone has a board that they would choose out of the list that i just posted, which would you choose??
Thanks a lot everyone!
The Horror is seriously useless on the mountain. Street board.
I feel the full asym Pickle tech is just wrong and the board sucked.
The Evo is no better than it's $400 competitors. Wanna pay the Eagle Tax?
From YES I rode the Jackpot and had a lot of fun. I back it. I haven't ridden a Stepchild in a very long time, but talking to one of the owners he was saying if the team isn't riding their own models, they're riding the KamKnife. I don't hesitate recommending it.
I ride the YES basic (2012), truetwin and R-C-R. really nice pop in the tail, nose is a bit softer. In my opinion it's a good allrounder. good for jumping and boxes; the edgehold is good, turns really easy. float in pow is not the best but ok, for railsliding there are better boards out there. the die-cut-base looks like they did this job for the first time... the parts don't fit exactly to each other... and the circle isn't round... looks a bit unprofessional....hmmm...another buddy of mine got the basic from 2013; it's base looks much better. maybe they changed the manufacturer?
