$100 boots that last 1 year vs $200 boots that last 2 years vs $300 boots that last 3 years

or $200 32 boots that last 1 year

if the boots fit, feel good, and work, don't worry what other people are saying.

That's a stupid way of buying boots.

Wal-Mart boots fit, feel good, and work.

ignore the haters. if they fit and feel good, there's no reason you shouldn't get them. biased opinions don't matter as everyone has different experiences. plenty of people here own 32 boots and love them. anyone who says the fit and feel of a boot is secondary to brand is an idiot.

I've never owned 32, but I've heard so much positive feedback on the 32 Lashed boots that I almost bought some. I opted for some Vans in the end.

^ i have co-workers who teach snowboarding for a living (so they're riding in them over 100 days a year) who swear by 32.

political arguments aside (i have friends who will not buy from walmart on principle) i'm pretty sure walmart don't make snowboarding boots. however, if they did sell a pair of boots which fitted properly, felt good and did the job for which they were designed, why is that stupid?

there's a lot of brand loyalty/snobbery in all sports and snowboarding is no exception but i believe that, especially when it comes to boots, brands are largely irrelevant.

to the op, i'm happy you're excited about your new boots. have fun in them

A fucking 2x4 will get you down the mountain. I assume that's what you use? After all, it's cheap, slides down a hill, and you can bolt stuff to it.

"Hi, I need new boots. What should I get?"
"Get something that fits!"
"Okay, I just bought some new 32 boots!"

to the guy who said have fun!! -- thanks, i'll try. given that i bought them for under $100 bucks, i dont see them as much of an investment. i can tell that they might not be the most durable, but i've got a pair of northwave decade sls with plenty of life left in them. worst case scenario i wear these things once and the disintegrate into thin air--i lose 100 bucks--and never buy another pair of 32s.

i was just shocked at how much hatred there is for them on this forum. i've had buddies riding them for years without issue. maybe the cheaper models suck?

i have a feeling these ultralights arent going to last very long is what you guys are saying is true...

does anyone rock the ultralights?
