Default Size Advice - Raygun for Beginner/Intermediate All Mountain

Hey Guys,

New member at Snowboarding Forum, decided to register and ask for advice as I'm really struggling to choose the right size board. Also seems like a great community!

I've decided on the K2 Raygun, having used the K2 Anagram since 2010 I'd really like an upgrade and I really struggle in powder and I feel this board could make it a little tiny bit easier! I also think the Raygun will be an easier transition.

Height: Around 5'9"
Weight: Around 120 lbs
Boot Size: US 7 (UK 6.5) Tiny Feet =D
Terrain: All Mountain, Groomed Runs, Park, Powder. Mostly ride in France (Avoriaz area)
Level: Beginner - Intermediate (Comfortable on Blue/Red - Have started small kickers, boxes, tables etc)

My Current K2 Anagram is a 152.

Reason I'm unsure is due to my low weight, I don't have the perfect height to weight ratio when it comes to choosing a board!

Any advice is really appreciated, also open to advice on other board options...

Thanks guys!

David

There are only two sizes that would work with you 150 and 153 if you look at their specs anyways. Weight and what you plan to do with it have more to do with size than your height. If you plan to use it more for groomed runs, powder and the mtn then get the bigger one. Smaller if Park mostly.
