A couple suggestions on a 06 Burton Dominant please.

Hello everyone, I'm a new comer to the forum as well as the sport. I have been a couple times and absolutely love it. I am looking to buy an 06 Burton Dominant. I'm aware it's a couple years old, so was wondering if it's a good buy. I am getting what I believe to be a good deal, it's used but has only been ridden 3 times. great condition. I am 6'2 184lbs. It's a 159 so is that an okay size for my weight? Also I am interested in free ride and park so is this a good board for my styles of interest.

Here is a link to a picture of one just incase the sight of it will help remind anyone of it.

Thanks!

size should be fine...especially for the park. Whether the flex is good for you is a personal prefrence...but it is right in the range. Freestyle it should work well also...but "freestyle" covers a wide range of terrain. It is a pretty flexy board so it might not be the best for high speed runs....other than that, all boards can work for anything. Hell you good use a fish in the park....but it surley not built for it.

You did not state a price....so I can not tell it it is a "good buy" or not.

that is OK.....If it is super nice.

The Dom is mainly a park board and they can get pretty beat up in just a few days. Also right now you can get new 08 boards (simular if not better than a Dom) for around $200 if you now where to look. If it is a friend, he should give it to you for $100. $130 would be it....for $150 I would walk.
