Which Lib Tech board?

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help choosing the most suitable Lib Tech board for myself. I have been riding for 5 years, I spent usually 10-15 days each year. Now it's going to change because I moved to Austria, really close to the mountains.

Currently I have a Burton Bullet '08 (160) board with Burton Freestyle '08 bindings. They are a bit old/large that's why I want to change them. I made the decision to buy a Lib Tech board but I'm a bit confused choosing the right one so I would like to get some advise from you.

About me:
Height: 182 cm
Weight: 82 kg
Boot size: 10.5 (Burton)
Usage: freestyle/jib/park/all mountain - so almost everything

I know the best would be to have different boards for different usage, but first I would like to have a more all around board.

My ideas:
Attack Banana 156
Box Scratcher 157

(I'm thinking about getting a pair of Union Contact Pros, if it's important.)

I'm open for other models from Lib Tech too.

PS: sorry for the grammar mistakes, but english isn't my mother language

I like the brand, the technologies they are using and the fact that they are also doing skateboards. (I have been riding skateboard for 13 years.)

But if you say these boards are totally bad decisions, than I'm open for other solutions.

After having a TRS 157, Gnu Carbon Credit 156W, T Rice 157 and ridden many other Libs/Gnus (Skunk Ape, Allturd Genetics, Skate Nanners), I could honestly say that I really want another TRS. Actually been looking to pick up a used one.

They charge and hold a line, yet you can dork around on them and not get killed.

The Carbon Credit BTX was a squirrely noodle that never held a line, the T Rice C2BTX HP (although awesome) is not good for dorking around. At all. Much more of a hauling ass, laser guided precision, jumping machine - which makes sense.

Just my 2 cents.

I picked-up a Lando 160 that I am looking forward to trying out this winter.

The Attack Banana is a good choice to do everything you want. If you want something slightly more aggressive, then the TRS would be the next step up. If you're willing to go with GNU (Lib Tech's sister brand), the Rider's Choice is also similar to the TRS. Some will even say upgraded tech such as a sintered base and the asymmetrical sidecut radius.

Shopping just Lib is limiting yourself pretty bad. The TRS is a decent board but definitely not the best out there and anything else from Lib that fits your description just isn't that great.

What else do you have access to?

I thought Lib Tech has a better reputation.

Almost any brand. What do you recommend?

Some people hate Lib, others hate Burton, you know what they say about opinions. I have been riding Libs exclusively since the 90's and I can't see my self buying anything else new in a shop.

At any rate more info about your riding style would be good. Do you ride the park more or freeride more, get lots of powder, prefer to ride the trees ect...

Plenty of other great options out there for a one board quiver.

What I would ride if I only had one board: Flow Era, Signal Freedom Machine Flat, Nitro Rook, K2 Happy Hour or Fastplant, Salomon Time Machine, YES Jackpot, Burton Process Camber, Rossi Trickstick, or a Bataleon FunKink.

Really? You haven't ridden a single other board in 20 years and yet you still somehow know that Libs are still better than anything else? Am I the only one that sees why that's ridiculous?
