Burton Cartels Help!! - Snowboarding Forum

I just bought some 2008 cartels at skidazzle this year. These were my first burton bindings, but are the highbacks supposed to be flexible (from side to side)? My last bindings were K2 indys and although they are about 1/4 the price of the cartels, they seemed a little more sturdy. Is the flexibility normal? I just want to make sure so I can get some peace of mind. Thanks! Sorry for the stupid question, but i just wanted to know.

yes the cartels are flexible from side to side for the freestyle riders.so its perficlty normal.try to bend it from fornt to back and youll see what i mean.so now worries its a good binding.
