My friend has 2 boards, has some 148cm 24Seven board laying around that wouldn't be used. I've read some comments that 24/7 was on the similar level as Lamar boards which were just not that good; cheapie boards for people who go like once or twice snowboarding.
I'm just wondering if I should spend like 20-30 dollars to rent a board, or just use the twentyfour-seven until I buy and invest in my own board. I weigh around 115lbs and still growing, so I would think the 148 size is good for me. I would only be using this until I get better (link my turns), and know what I want, and until the deals start coming near the end of the season. I think I would like a all-mountain board, but we'll see as i progress. I am a beginner and have went snowboarding a couple of times. The thing is, there is no model name on the 24/7, so I can't look up any reviews. Do you guys think it'd be better or worse than rental gear? |
