Kiteboarding, windsurfing and wakeboarding all have their versions of noboarding (strapless) also.

Looks like it might be fun and challenging in the pow.

God I saw this guy BLASTING down the hill as fast as me on what looked like a snowskate with a ski on the bottom, no bindings! Was quite amazing. Anyone know what this thing was? It wasn't a noboard btw I just googled it.

So far only Burton (boo) manufactures a noboard, which is a modified version of their Fish. You can turn pretty much any powder board into one on your own, though. I def want to try it eventually...
