Default Which way does the board go?

Ok I feel really stupid asking this considering I've been snowboarding for 6 years. Everytime I've bought a new board my local ski shop just puts the bindings on for me. The only time I buy new bindings is when I buy a new board. So for the first time I bought a board off the internet. I got the bindings and I'm going to put them on and I am extremly puzzled. Which way is the board supposed to go down the hill? haha! Its a shaun white 08 152. So if you stand the board straight up and down (Obviously the right way) the tip on top is the part that faces down the hill right?

umm....yeah.

but wait. if you already know the "right way" why are you asking??? a nose is a nose is a nose...and the nose knows!

if you can read the writing on the board without standing on your head, it's facing the right direction for going down the hill. if you're goofy (like me ) you will put your bindings on with the right foot in front. if you're regular your left foot will be in front.

If you ride normal and your left foot it is in front, the left foot would go at the top of the board if you stood it up against the wall. The writing on the board should be readable when it is up against the wall. If the writing is upside down, then the board is as well.

Ha thats what I figured. I just wasn't sure. I asked this because the Shaun white logo thing is on the nose of this board, but on my old one it was on the tail. Which tells me I was riding my board backwards for almost 3 yrs.
