Binding overhang - Snowboarding Forum

My bindings seem to be hanging off my board about a quarter of an inch,and I was wondering if this is enough to allow the bindings to drag on the snow? The part of the binding hanging off would not be touching the board if it were not hanging off. Here are some pictures:

It won't hinder your riding but I personally wouldn't buy a set up with the bindings overhanging that much. Leads me to think your board is to narrow for your boot/binding set up or your bindings are too big for your boots/board.
