Question 100kg Rider looking for board sizing help?

Hi Guys

I'm 5'11 ~100kg and currently rise a Bataleon Evil Twin 159 from 10/11 season. I'm looking at something like the Bataleon Jam for my visit to Whistler this winter as I've ridden in powder a tiny amount on the ET and it was hard work keeping the nose up! I also am not a park fiend!

Should I be looking at a wider board or a longer board as I have only size 9 boots and was told years ago to avoid wide boards??? So would you go for a 161W or 162???

I'm based in europe so spend most of my time bashing the pistes rather than back country etc but am completely sold on the TBT so am not really interested in other brands.

Hope that makes sense!

TIA
