BTX board length

Hi,

I'm looking at ordering a Lib Tech TRS BTX as my new all mountain board and was wondering if i should get a 159 or 157.

I'm 5'10", 175lbs.
For ride style I like to stick mostly to the trees and runs with more rough terrain and lots of kickers!! Speeding down groomers is of little interest to me.

My old board was a 160, but I read somewhere that BTX boards can be shorter, just wondering if anyone knows exactly why this is.

thanks

154 or 157.

Since you're looking at the TRS BTX, can we point you in the direction of the Neversummer SL-R 155 (or 158)?

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU

Actually...I was looking at the SL-R and liked it. But I couldnt find a dealer in Calgary, well, all of Alberta actually who carries NS boards. Also all online stores that carries NS are in the US, and with the state of our dollar right now, I really didnt want to pay the exchange rate You know where I could get a good deal on one in my area?
