So I pretty much have it down to 3 boards: (all 08 models)
Capita Saturnia - can't find a link right now, but was around 200 Atomic Fallen Angel (female hatchet) : $179 Rome Vinyl: $225 I'm having trouble finding bindings as well. I'd like to find rome struts or madisons for her, but may end up getting a small rome arsenal? You guys have any opinions on what I should get her? She's a beginner like me, looking at all-mountain. I need to buy soon because the 08 boards are disappearing. -snowjeeper |

since no one is replying i'll talk to myself...
i was leaning towards the vinyl, because people have talked it up. but from looking at that guys reviews there are some that are negative "claimed board was new, but it was not" type of stuff. Makes me hesitant to buy from him... |

Not being a chick, I can't speak from experience. But I can say that I have owned Rome boards for several years now and I find it hard that one could disappoint. They are great boards.

that's what i've heard, but that seller in the link seems kind of sketch.. he has alot of positive reviews, but also some negative ones from a couple years ago. I guess I do have paypal and credit card protection somewhat if he does try to screw me.

it does have paypal buyer protection, so hopefully that would be on my side if he sent me a used board instead of new.
also do you know what this is? burton feather 47 she's calling it a burton feather 47, but then claims the length is 154... any ideas? Last edited by snowjeeper; 12-11-2008 at 05:00 PM. |

I wouldn't buy that board. That person seems very confused. The 47 is the name of the board, but 154 is the length.
I also didn't see any mention of the bindings. EDIT: Also, LOL at the "I fell down the first time and decided it wasn't for me." Sounds like a moron. Last edited by Flick Montana; 12-11-2008 at 05:05 PM. |
