Will there always be heel lift no matter how well your boots fit? When I'm walking around or just cruising down the mountain, I don't feel any lift. It's when I'm riding hard and fast do I start to feel a little lift.

Unless you put wood screws through the base of your boot and into your heel, I don't think it will be gone completely. You can buy inserts for certain boots, my new Vans Cirro boots for instance, that will help reduce lift a little.
