my new board short list - any opinions?

Ok so I pretty much have it down to:
Rossi Alias - $185

Capita Stairmaster - $230

Atomic Hatchet - $190

Any opinions on which is a better board to start on as a beginner for all-mountain?

stairmaster probably isent your best bet for all mountain stuff.

dont know anything about the other two. but the stairmaster is def a park/rail board.

Thanks wolf and sick, that's some good info. Another option is the Rome Agent. I didn't put it up there initially because of it's price, but I just saw one on ebay, an 07/08 for $200.

the agents are sick. romes got really good quality. i like them alot. id choose that over any of those other boards. but im a big rome fan, and dont know any of those other boards but the stairmaster.

Never heard a bad word about them so it should be a safe bet.

the only thing with the agent i found, it's a little small for me. I'm 5'11 and right now probably about 175. I can stand to lose 10 pounds, which i'm working on right now. But the board I found on ebay is a 152. too small?

I've read really good things about the Alias and the Hatchet also, so it's hard to choose.

Best MID FLEX bindings. I wouldn't trade my Arsenals for them. They were a tiny bit too soft for me.

there was some kid who posted a thread about being two hundred some pounds and riding a 152 or something like that i think.

i think this question comes down to what your gonna ride more. park and rails? go shorter. more on the all mountain side/back country go bigger.
