Burton Hero vs Love

i am looking at a new park board this year and was wondering if anyone had ridden the Hero and what they thought about it. i like the idea of the multiple rockers. I have read the reviews about the Love, and its sounds like a good choice.

Thanks

the hero looks like a real solid board. the flex is so smooth and with est's it would be sick i bet. i know someone with one that likes it but ive never rode it..

The differences are the Love sucks and the Hero doesn't. To clarify, the Love is a dead board. Really soft in the middle and too stiff on the ends. Makes the board feel really dead. Less pop than any board I've ridden and took an enormous amount of effort to get that amount of pop.

I like the Hero. The double rocker gives ollies a more skateboard feel. Instead of having to load the tail, you just kinda pop it. The spoon-tech in the tip and tail is pretty forgiving as well. And EST if you can afford it is really worth it. I loved it when I tried it but I don't personally like the standard forward lean Burton uses.

Snowboarding Is...

That thing I do to escape the world and have fun with my friends

I am not impressed with the EST at all and I generally hate Burton. So this may come as a surprise, but the Hero is a pretty awesome board. I would definitely go with that one. Every positive comment about how the board rides is true. Great board.

i got a demo from some unsure kid in rei last night on the est system. he was pretty giddy about it but i think for the money im just gonna stick with the standard.

im not a big burton fan anyway.
