Default rub on wax

has anyone had any luck with this stuff? I know it cant replace hot wax but do would it work alright to hot was every 3 times or so and then just apply this stuff anytime? Any specific brands?

It's a quick fix designed for on-the-mountain emergency jobs.

It also gets the same result as a factory or machine wax.
