Boots packed out any options

I've got a pair if 32 Lashed FT that I've been using for about three seasons. The shells are still fine, no real damage to speak of. My issue is that the liners have packed out to the point of creating a painful "hot spot" on the top of my ankles. It's from years of use and the inner lacing harness in the boots. I really like these boots, my favorites for both park and last second trips. I don't feel like breaking in a new pair right now. I'm wondering if I heat up the liners without molding them to my feet again can it fix some of the pack out? Has anyone tried this before? Just trying to get one more season out of these so I don't have to buy a pair at full price right now. I do like them a lot so any advise to save them would be helpful.

Not sure if your ideas work or not, I do know that remind makes just liners you can buy and add to your boots if you wanted to though.

I would absolutely grab some of these. As everyone is starting to figure out, their insoles are teh fucking biz.

you can put bits of foam on the outside of the liners...see pics in the boot faq sticky (above)

Those liners look like a solution that might keep me from having to toss a perfectly good set of shells. Kinda wish they made em without the lacing harness on em though since Thirty Two has the there's part of the shell. Would I have to cut the existing harness from the shell? Anyone have any experience with the replacement liners?

If you don't want to throw down the cash on a new liner, take your boots to a good boot fitter, they should be able to cut some foam pieces on your old liner to make them fit better.

On most liners there is a Knot hidden by the leather or plastic handle, just untie the know and unlace the string.
