Bindings are those On Sale Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings up to 40% off

Boots for the moment here BURTON INVADER actual picture http://images.the-house.com/burt-inv...-blkwht-12.jpg (good for start learning) Burton Invader Review, Price Comparison & Buyers Guide i see that they are soft and could be too soft for my progresion now as my board 7 stiff and bindings 6 stiff

My question which stiffness boots i need to buy i am riding mountains not parks and doing jumps only in a mountains, i was looking at those boots DC SHOES-TRAVIS RICE 2013/14 DC STIFFNESS RATING: 9 (Stiff) DC Travis Rice Boa Snowboard Boots Black Yellow | 2014

I'm currently riding the Burton Hails and got a pretty good deal on a previous year model. I do like them for that type of riding. Have also hit a few jumps in the park with them so far.

I have always hated really stiff boots. The Hails are rated a 6 stiffness. I would not really ever want anything much stiffer than that myself. But I'm wondering why I still support Burton and recommend their products--first they moved all production overseas, now I'm looking for a new jacket and realize they also shut down my favorite snowboarding outerwear company ever (Special Blend) and couple of other cool companies.

I'm rocking those DC Travis Rice boots. Love them. They fit great but I had to go up 1/2 size from what I normally wear. I have a size 11 and FYI they do not fit a medium burton cartel. Fit a large nice. I like stiff boots, though I wouldn't call the TR a 9. More like a 7 if you ask me but I weigh 195 so I may be flexing them more than others can. Boa is sweet. They are kind of hard to get into compared to other brands I've worn.

Have you tried on any of these yet? That's step one. In the world of boots, fit is more important than features or stiffness.

I'd say FIT > STIFFNESS > FEATURES > LOOKS
