Burton Boots Breaking

I've owned a few pairs of Burton boots now, & they all seem to break on me.
I had 2 pairs of imprint 1's, & they both ripped at the toe after about one season.
I had the Jeremy Jones boots, & they seemed to kid of fall apart at the toe.
Has anybody else come across this problem? I'm not too hard on them, I use them for snowmobiling too.
What other boot company should I look at? I was thinking Nike because I've never heard of anything wrong with them at all.

I think that would probably help a bit, as I ride resorts every now & then, but for the most part I ride backcountry, so I ride my sled to the bottom & walk up...

Nikes fit narrow compared to Burton's. If you want to switch brands, you need to take some time off work and go on a boot quest. Be sure to write postcards to the spouse to quell any worries.

Maybe coat your toes with truck bed liner? Sledding destroys boots.

That's all I got. Sorry.
