women's boots

I have been renting gear (4 sessions so far, loving the sport and ready to buy soon) and am thinking about buying boots and starting to demo boards. I have rented Burton boots based on what the shops had in stock. I am not sure what to look for. The rental boots were stiff and heavy, IMHO. I tried a pair of Flows on yesterday in N. Conway and they felt feather light. Any suggestions? I am a size 6 and will be riding in New England.

try on all the boots you can. go for something that fits very snugh, almost too tight, because it will pack out. your toes should be touching the front when you are standing and when you flex they will pull back away from the front.

In all the Burton boots I rented and the Flow, my feet are tiny compared to the width...is that normal..I mean, I had tons of room.
