Default K2 Contour

Wondering if any BOA users have tried the K2 Contour? I had DCs with a single BOA. Upgraded to the Ride Cadence with Double BOA. Getting some heel lift w/that, but I think I was improperly sized (1/2 size too big, fit great for a while, but they've since stretched out giving me the heel lift). Was looking at the K2 Contour, but it looks like the Double BOA isn't a true Double Boa for Lower & Upper zones, but rather the 2nd BOA is for the liner. I've gotten used to being able to adjust my upper and lower and wondering if the Contour would give me a similar feel that the Ride Double BOA has or if I'll be missing that lower BOA for the boot.

recently picked up a pair of k2 contour boas for $35 ...just cause of the fit and price...wasn't looking and didn't need them...but will when I burn through my extra pair of 32 focus boas. Only have 1 day and they did fine...liner needs to be fine tuned to my liking with jbars and etc. I think the inner boa is a nice idea and will work fine...but you got to get the foot bed and the liner j/c/buttfly mods set up. With 32's the inner lace harness basically works like the k2 inner boa. As for the 32 focus boa...the lower foot boa I ride fairly loose and the upper one snug....anyway the 1 day on the contour seemed like it would be working fine...definitely could ratchet down the heel.

anyway check out mods to liners to dial in the heel hold...imo its the footbed and liner mods that remedy packout and heel lift problems....not the lacing or boa system of the shell.
