Default Burton Boots - 14/15 Availability & Sizing

Hey all,

Two quick questions regarding Burton boots.

1.) Any idea on when the 14/15 gear hits the stores/online retailers?
2.) I've been riding on K2 boots for the last 3 years but still have a few pair of Burton Motos (Yeah, i know...) laying around. For sizing, if I wore a 10 in the Motos would that size remain consistent into the other Burton boots, i.e. Ions, Imperials, SLX, etc.?

Thanks,

MeanJoe

1. Should be sometime within the next weeks, pretty sure some B stuff has already shown up in stores.

2. No. Different boots will have different fits, even though they're made by the same company and are the same foot size.

Thanks. That is what I was afraid of. Over the last two years, my local shop has stopped carrying almost all Burton boots so my only real option is to buy online now. Fortunately, there is an REI locally so I guess if I have to return I have an easier route to do so.

Well, I checked my old Motos and they are a size 9. I've been riding K2 T1 DBs for the last couple years in size 10. REI has 2013/2014 Imperials for $209.00 and looking at the 2014/2015 Imperials I'm not really seeing much difference except color ways. So, I went ahead and ordered the 2013/2014 Imperials from REI in a 9.5 and am going hope they're a good fit. If not, I can return them at the local REI store for a full refund. I'll then either buy the 2013/2014 Imperials in a size 9 (if still available) or I'll just go for another boot entirely...

I really, really wish my local shop didn't stop carrying a decent selection of Burton boots. Buying online from a REI just feels dirty.
