Default New board new binding, now for the boots.

I just picked up a 2015 ride machete GT and got 2014 rome boss 390 bindings to go with, pumped for the new setup as its a huge upgrade over my old setup. I'm looking at the k2 thraxis boots. I hated how flexible my old 32s were and am looking for a stiffer boot.
Ive pretty much abandoned the park for the most part and stick to the trees, pow stashes and bomber runs. Any suggestions or thoughts on the thraxis?

They gotta fit right but I love my Salomon Synapse and the flex would be perfect.

I bought pair of K2 Maysis boots at the beginning of last season and have to say that they were the WORST boots I've ever had. I have never seen a pair of boots turn to mush so quickly. I think I put about 10 days on them before the were absolutely worthless.

i've only had 2 pairs of boots in my life and neither were K2 so the only advice i can give is make sure whatever boots you choose fit into the bindings before you buy them

I love my Salomon F3.0. Two seasons on them and just as good as new.
