Default 32 TM-2 questions

Got the 2008-09 model on clearance recently.

So they're the right size, I think, my toes just meet the end and after a few days riding they're breaking in. I wear a 9-9.5 shoe size, and sized to an 8.5 in this pair of boots (8 in my previous pair).

However, although the length of the boot is right, there's just a slight bit of extra space in the toebox, and I can move my feet maybe a mm or two within the boot. Will a heat molding step take care of this- if I understand this right, the foam does expand somewhat as the heat is applied. I could have gone a half size smaller, but my big toes wouldn't appreciate it, although the volume is closer to the shape of my foot.

Also, the footbed- this is new to 32s, isn't it? My Lashed didn't have them, and I noticed when I took out the footbed that it seems like the design of the liner is slightly different, previously the heel area was more like a heel cup, now it's more of a flat last.
