I just bought a pair of Burton Boxers (final sale) for cheap. They were fine in the shop but after actually riding in them, it seems that it's really tight. My right foot was ok but my left foot hurts after about 30 min so I kept having to unlace my left boot to relieve the pain. My big toes feel tight & my other toes are fine, but again it's my left foot that's the problem.
I've taken out the insoles in the liners and the boots feel so much better. Is it ok to ride without the insoles? I feel better walking around in them. But I haven't tried them out on the slopes without it. Or should I look into getting a really thin insole? Maybe I just need to suck it up and keep riding to try to pack them in...it's just annoying that I can't do a full day without having to loosen them up. The burton rentals i've used in the past never had these problems... |

If arch support isn't your thing go for it. Personally I'd have just had the shop heat mold the liner and be done with it.
