boot size - Snowboarding Forum

so im going on a trip next weekend and need to buy boots like today and dont have time to make it to the store to try them on. i went a last weekend and when i went to rent my boots i was told to get them half a size bigger and they fit. are all boots like this? i wear a 9.5 and got a 10 and they fit perfect. any suggestions other than to go to a store and try them on?

Buy your boots when you get there to make sure they fit right.

NO. Boots and shoe sizes mean nothing. Play it smart and try before you buy or else you are taking a big chance at just throwing away your money.

Just figured out I can send money from paypal to bank account so probably gonna buy them at the sport chalet or something

I actually like to size down in my boots because you have to figure in the volume you'll lose as the liner packs out. I'm an 11 on the scale and ride a 10. It's tight at first but after 7-10 days riding it's perfect.

i just bought some gear! it was super cheap. i got a pair of salomon boots for 50 bucks and GNU bindings for 50 bucks.
