Rome Libertines too Soft?
 

Whenever i try to butter i lean back far but my nose doesnt come up. Im using the libertines and they feel good but almost too soft anyone else have this problem>?

what kind of board are you using?
I have em with burton fix and I can manual pretty easily.

To OP: Buttering on your back foot is harder than on your front foot, you need to lean back and pull up your nose with your front knee.

I have a quick question about these boots as well. I just bought a pair today and sized down a full size (size 9 shoe so size 8 boot) and they boots are fairly tight (toes almost scrunched) on me without having ridden them.
My question is will they pack out enough to be comfortable or will they not stretch out enough? I ride about 10 times a year, but hike my backyard setup whenever I can, like every other day. I also like a medium flex boot, nothing too noodley. I know the libertines are sort of soft but if I am wearing a smaller size will it really matter?

They feel great when riding i'm using a rome graft which feels pretty good with them

I've used these boots about 8 times this season and I think they packed out a little bit but not too much.

I think it depends whether your toes feel comfortable or not. Does it hurt your toes during or after a session? If so then I think you should get 8.5 or 9.

Fitzy, if you haven't, try strapping the toe binding more towards the top of the foot

The problem is I havent ridden them yet. I think I am going riding tomorrow, but im not sure if when I ride them if the shop will take em back after. My toes are fairly squished in to the toe, to the point where it is almost uncomfortable. I got such a good deal on them, which is why I am considering keeping them.
The other problem that I'm having is that when they pack out they may be too soft. I like a stiffer than softer feeling when Im controlling my board, so will the libertines even be the right boot anyways? Thanks in advance for your help.
