Boot Sizing - Snowboarding Forum

Went to my local ski shop today, and it was just my luck that they were out of pretty much any boots around my size.

I tried on a size 10 Burton boot, and it was a tad big, and then tried on a size 9 Ride boot, and it was small.

However, the sales rep was calling around trying to find me a size 9 burton boot. I was thinking I should try something in a 9 1/2, however they didn't have anything in that size.

So essentially my question is, does anyone know if Ride boots run small? Or was my sales rep just not putting two and two together?

Thanks for any info.

you need to consider that the boots will pack out a little. so if the size 9 was a little small, its probably going to expand to a 9.5 once its broken in.

or you could order the same boot you tried on online.

okay.

i could slide my heel around all over the place in the 10s, and the 9s were just a bit tight.

guess i'll go for those!
