I know that I should physically try on a bunch of boots before buying but I kinda want to get a pair of '10 to save money. My question is that my foot size is a slightly wide 12.5 (based on getting it measured today for running shoes). If I were to to purchase a pair of size 12 Salomon F22s would it be a waste of money (in that they def wouldn't fit and I would have to return them) or do you guys think they are worth looking into? I am undecided between getting the F22s, Malamut, Maysis and Thraxis. I know they each have different lacing systems and I have read pros and cons of each of them. Just looking for someone's .02 if you have the time. Thanks in advance!
PS: Setup for '10-11 season is as follows: NS Heritage Rome Targa Boots?? (Going for a stiffer setup to handle runs down the east coast mountains in powder, ice and everything in between) |

That is a really good idea. I had evogear pricematch a pair of the F22s for me today and they said they are holding them for me for 48 hours as they only have one pair left. I will definitely take a look and see where the closest REI is to me ( used to have one down the road when I lived in Boston but that a year ago).
