Default I Need Boots

I'll start off first by saying here in N.B the opportunity to try on a bunch of different boots is slim, we don't have many snowboard/ski shops & they have a slim inventory, especially size 12.

I've read several boot threads & still have no idea what I need, I'll be on groomers, glades & some park. Probably need a decent all around boot, just not sure what one. I was reading good things about Salomon boots but I've read there a bit narrow so there out.

I'm running a NS Legacy with Targa bindings..............any boot recommendations??????????

gotta try them on.. Sometimes local shops dont have what your looking for. Best bet is to suck it up take a trip to somewhere down the road. It may be a lil ride. But its your feet. This is the most important Item to get right. Take your time. get the right one. and it will reward you in the long run

I could take a trip to Southern Maine, but it would be about a 3 to 4 hour drive 1 way!

It would be an expensive pair of boots but I might not have a choice.

Yea man it does suck but will be worth it. You really don't want your feet killing you all season. I was going to take a 2hour ride to try on dc's to see the sizing. Luckily before I drove I found a dc shop in the city. I'm all for buying online but I highly reccomend trying the company boots on at a shop

I wouldn't be so quick to throw out salomon, especially when you haven't even tried them on. The Salomon Pledges are the best boots I've had. I can ride forever in them without any foot pain or disomfort, its just my legs can't keep up right now. Look at the f22 or f20 since you have big feet.

im in the same boat as you.. but there are zero shops where I live and I have to fly to get to anywhere that does. fortunately we are going on vacation to Korea next week, so im going to find some shops there and try on as many boots as I can.

I know this dosnt help you any, but figure I would let you know that you are not alone in your situation and that even though the urge is great to just order boots online without trying them out first. I have to agree with everyone on here and say, try and find a way to get to where you can test more boots before you buy.
