Ok so i am 15 and still growing, should i buy a nice pair of boots,or wait till im 18 and stop growing and save for other things like better clothes etc. Whats your opinion?

Renting is fin for occasional riding. If you go more than three times a season though, you can buy your own low end boots for less than renting. Keep an eye out for sales, and you can even score last seasons leftovers high end boots for half price.

There is nothing more important to riding than a quality boot. Spend the money on something nice. There are also deals to be had, like the DC judge they had on whiskey for $110 not too long ago. You may not get your prefered color of choice but at least you'll have good days on the hill.

Rental boots generally suck, and can make your day a living hell if they don't fit right. I have to agree that if you snowboarding more then 3 times a year get your own pair. Doesn't matter how expensive they are, the most important part is that they fit snug and your feet don't move/rock. If they cut off circulation or have serious pressure points they're probably not the right fit.
