Should I sell my DC Phases? - Snowboarding Forum

I have simple DC Phases that I've had for 2 seasons. It looks like the laces are starting to fall apart and some of the stitching on the boots is coming undone as well. I've used them pretty hard and they have taken some abuse. They fit fine but I hate that my toes get cold in them when the temperature drops below 32oF. I'm starting to ride more often and am thinking if I should get rid of them to get something new. That way I might get some money out of them towards my next pair of boots. What do you guys/gals with experience think?

Can anyone give me a recommendation on the new DC Journeys? or are the DC Boa's worth a look?

Should you sell your Phase? No...that wouldn't be fair to whoever is buying them.

I somewhat agree with Extremo. But if you REALLY need the money for them, I guess they will do for someone else. Maybe a beginner because they wont notice a huge difference on what the boots quality are. Because you said something about the stitching. But get new laces if you plan on selling, its just 5$ depending on what you buy.
But hey, do whatever you want be it fair to the customer or not.

I wouldn't bother trying to sell them. How much do you think you can get for a two year old pair of worn out, low end boots? Just save up and buy some new boots.

I agree with you but for a beginner, its always good to have some nice cheap boots. they may last one season only but still, it will be long enough for him or her to see if theres into it and it will be easy on the pay check because the boots wouldn't sell for a lot.
Not sure if thats correct, but its my opinion. My first boots were vans mantra, pretty damn good boots if i must say. not the cheapest though.

Lol I think I might have over-stated how worn out they are. They are worn but still plentty usable for sure. I just want something that won't have my heel lift up or at least less. And! I might be in the jibbing business but I'm not in the jipping business! Lmao... I think you guys propose an interesting idea about keeping these boots as a back up, but do I really NEED a back up set? I figure I might get 20 - 30 bucks from a newbie friend. I got these for 60 from a buddy two - three years ago. Thanks for the input bros
