Default Help me figure this out

Ok so heres the deal,

starting about 2-3 years ago i went from a 152 forum to a 154 forum board, I used to have size 12 DC phantom 2 boots then i got some DC boot with the boa system. I dont know if it was the boot, the board, the bindings and they way i set them up but riding became a real pain, my peroneus longus muscle in my left leg would just feel like a permanent charlie horse and never go away. I would have to stop a couple times during a run just to relax my feet and muscle.

So i had posted a thread about 2 years ago to try and fix that, most said it was my stance because i was at like 20/0 and a wide stance. I havent been up since but i have just changed my stance to narrow and about 12/12, this could help but i wont know until i get up on the mountain.

anyway heres the boot part, some people said that it was my boot was too big so i got a size 10 Burton ion and just got custom foot beds for them. so after wearing them around the house for a bit i start to kind of get the same pain as i do snowboarding so just for laughs i tried on my old DC phantom 2 boots which are size 12. after being in them for about 5 minutes i had no pain just some heel slip.

so i think the DC was a less stiff boot than the burton, so could a stiff boot be the problem or whats some ideas?

thanks guys
