Default Stiffness of boots (Salomon F22)

This is a really stupid/dense question, please forgive my ignorance.

I got these boots, and they are super comfortable. I guess anything is super comfy compare to the rental burton crap

Now I've never really try this with the rental stuff, but I am trying these boots at home with my new board/binding (GNU b-street and Ride VXN) and I have a hard time standing up (from the sitting down getting up from heel side edge position), obviously, I'm doing this at home on carpet, so it's not on snow, I don't know if it is suppose to be harder to stand or its my boots or binding being too stiff??

Ummm another complicating factor was that I just ran a half marathon without running at all for 2 months, so my muscles are pretty fatique i guess.

Should you be able to stand up as easy as it is like it is in snow? (not saying it is easy, but I never have trouble getting up from my heel side), I'm almost falling backward on carpet...

Way harder to do at home on the floor. No slope at all and the snow allows you to dig in the edge when you get up. Dont worry about it.

Thank you!! *feels stupid*
Totally no problem when I was up in the mountain. I thought about exchanging it for the F20...
